Feel Good Meals loves businesses that love food. We are so lucky to live in a community where we can enjoy all different kinds of foods and beverages, and even work with some of the best food and beverage businesses in town! We love Black Pearl Farms, and they love Feel Good Meals. Read on to learn more about where we are getting this week’s blueberries.
What is Black Pearl Farms?
Black Pearl Farms provides the freshest, sweetest and juiciest blueberries while protecting their natural environment for future generations!
This 180 acre farm follows organic, holistic and sustainable agricultural practices for their world class blueberries. (20 acres of some of the best you’ll ever have!)
They also have 50 bee boxes that supplies honey for the Edisto gold honey company.
Future plans for the farm include: eco-tourism and eduction events such as yoga retreats, weddings, home schooling events, wilderness survival training, and more!
When were they established?
The farm was established 14 years ago by the Anderson family. The Lofstedt family took over in April, 2021, and are relocating from upstate NY to SC to tend to the farm.
