sherry glazed onions

What you’ll need:

128 oz

  • 8 lbs red onions

  • 4.5 oz brown sugar

  • 8 oz Sherry wine

  • 1.1 oz kosher salt

  • .05 oz thyme

Instructions:

  • Cut off the root and top ends of the onions.

  • Slice onions into fourths, like onion rings.

  • Wrap each onion in its own piece of foil, keeping the top of the foil open to add remaining ingredients.

  • Add remaining ingredients.

  • Close up foil, and put all onions wrapped up into a hotel pan.

  • Roast for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

  • Cool completely, and dice.
