sherry glazed onions

What you’ll need:
128 oz
8 lbs red onions
4.5 oz brown sugar
8 oz Sherry wine
1.1 oz kosher salt
.05 oz thyme
Instructions:
Cut off the root and top ends of the onions.
Slice onions into fourths, like onion rings.
Wrap each onion in its own piece of foil, keeping the top of the foil open to add remaining ingredients.
Add remaining ingredients.
Close up foil, and put all onions wrapped up into a hotel pan.
Roast for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Cool completely, and dice.
