Feel Good Meals loves businesses that love food. We are so lucky to live in a community where we can enjoy all different kinds of foods and beverages, and even work with some of the best food and beverage businesses in town! We love Street Fare Farm, and they love Feel Good Meals. Read on to learn more about where we are getting this week’s Japanese eggplant.

What is Street Fare Farm?

Ben Street started Street Fare Farm at the beginning of 2015 and spent the season farming in the off-hours of his day job as a freight forwarder. Balancing both jobs was difficult, so his plan was to keep working the day job one more year to save up some more money, and then make the leap to farming full-time in 2017. However, the tragic loss of his brother in late 2015 had a profound impact on his life. He knew he wanted to follow his dream and become a farmer, so in early 2016, he left his full-time job and made the leap to farm full-time. He is now married, and he and his wife Alisha are raising their two children as part of the operation. Ben’s goal is to provide the freshest, healthiest food for his family, friends and community, and to inspire others to develop a connection to this planet that sustains our life.
